CFA piling systems

We offer CFA-type augers, auger drive systems and related equipment : CFA-type couplings (adaptors), augers, auger drives, auger drive hitches, etc.

CFA augers are available in lengths from 2 metres up to the required lenght. The most common auger segments used are 300, 400, 500, 600 mm in diameter. The auger segments are chosen according to the customer's machinery and the preference for auger segments (2 or 4 meters).

CFA augers are customised according to customer requirements. Assembly and attachment available upon request.

CFA stands for Continuous Flight Augers. This pile installation technology is very common in modern buildings because of its wide range of applications. To install these piles, special tools are used to drill the required diameter cavities, which are filled with concrete by pulling the drill back. CFA piles can be used in a wide range of situations, but they are most often used when the soil is very loose or when simple drilled or driven piles are not possible.

Prices vary in accordance to the customer's requirements and technical possibilities, but the system is many times cheaper than a self-propelled piling machine.
